Help

I don't receive e-mails in my outlook account (n_tatishxxxx@hotmail.com) when they

are sent to me by ''reply'', they are redirected (forwarded) to n_tatishxxxx@fastmail.com

and I can't see them in my inbox. It has been done without my permission. Could you please

tell me how to solve this.

I think your outlook account forwards the email to fastmail account. Please verify that first. If it is then you can stop email forwarding by following these steps:

  1. In Outlook Web App, select Settings Settings icon > Options > Account > Connected accounts (or Mail > Accounts> Forwarding).

  2. Select Stop forwarding.

Hi Tatia,

Are you using Outlook desktop application or the webmail version as your email client?

If you are using Outlook desktop application, please go to Home tab > Rules > Manage Rules & Alerts and check if you have set any rule to forward reply messages.

In addition, please also check the account settings of the Hotmail.com account and see if you have the Reply E-mail set to the fastmail.com account. To do this, click File > Account Settings > Account Settings, double-click your Hotmail.com account. Then, click More Settings > General tab, check if the Reply E-mail field is set incorrectly.

Since this forum is for general questions and feedback related to Outlook desktop application, if you are using Outlook.com webmail interface, I'd recommend you post a new question in the Outlook.com forum:

The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us. Thank you for your understanding.
