Headers being filtered
We have a customer that operates an Exchange cluster. We collect emails from a number of accounts on this cluster via POP3. For some accounts, we are missing certain X-Ref headers when examining the messages via IMAP & POP3, yet the messages clearly do have these headers set when the message is viewed using Outlook (Exchange) and the OWA web interface. The customer has so far been unable to identify the cause but insists all their machines are configured with identical settings, which is not unreasonble. Looking for patterns the only thing to observe is that a minority of newer accounts are affected. Can anyone provide any ideas that we might pass on to this customer? We're primarily wondering if POP3/IMAP talks to the message store differently to Exchange's more native interfaces, but as we're not Exchange people ourselves we're purely speculating. TIA
