Have windows dark theme but want MS word to remain unchanged/default/white?  Please help!

Regarding of the issue, please provide us more information to assist you better.

• Which version of Windows system operation and Office are you using?
• Do you mind explaining more detailed about "windows dark theme ". 

My understanding is that you want to use High Contrast theme of Windows, am I right? If yes, we see the screen like this, we can't remain Word with white background.

If no, please try to upload some screenshots, I'd like to do further research.
