Have to insert pin 3 times before signed or encrypted email will send (Outlook 2013)

I am having no issues sending the email after I sign or encrypt. The issue is the fact that I have to enter my pin 3 times in the Microsoft Smart Card Provider pop up window before it sends the email.

Any thoughts? I am running Windows 7 Pro 64bit SP1.

Thank you for the reply Melon. I have updated the driver for the smart card reader and nothing. I have performed every possible step from militarycac.com as well and still the same issue persists. Like I said, the smart card works and it signs as well as encrypts but I have to put in my pin 3 times before it will send. It is happening to all the computers in my office, not just mine.

Melon,

I run Outlook in safe mode and it works fine. Any thoughts as to what may be causing this problem?

Rob

Melon,

The following forum post lead me to the answer.

Asked to enter PIN multiple times when sending Digitally Signed emails

All I had to do is disable my addins and figure out which one was causing the issue by adding them back one at a time. Thank you for your help.

Regards,

Rob
