Have Server Reply Using a Specific Message (sorta kinda urgent)
Exchange 2k7 SP3 We have some email accounts that had been used for customer support. The business is moving away from these accounts to a different solution. They want to set an auto-reply on these accounts to let customers that send email to them that they should, in fact, be using a different method now. The transport rules don't work because I don't want to send a bounce message, the business still wants to recieve these emails (and frankly not friendly enough) I allowed Auto-replies on the Exchange server side. Then I set up a rule: All messages recieved by the account (first screen I selected nothing) Have server reply using a specific message (I left the from, to, cc blank, only filling in subject and the body of the message) The message is there, but it doesn't appear to be firing. Something I am missing here? Anybody have a better way of doing this? Thanks!
