This is actually take place on several other machines that I have as well. Some of the application crashes are for Word and others for Excel.

We have completed removed Office form the machines and reinstalled it. Within a day or two this event error is back in the logs. It does not take place every day but it does happen at least two to three times a week. We have also tried running a repair on a couple of the machines as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

You can try apply a HOTFIX as per http://support.microsoft.com/kb/965495 and see whether this issue persists.

I have listed some important tips below aswell:

Outlook 2003 Slow switching between Messages and Views

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/924229

You may experience performance issues when you type any text in an Outlook 2003 e-mail message after you install security update 931768 (MS07-027)

I've tried your suggestions before and it did not resolve my issue.

This problem takes place on all versions of Office now.

I have some using 2010, 2007, and 2003 and I get notices of application crashes.

From the users point of view everything is working great but the log is filling up with application crashes.
