HTTP Status Code 500 - No call stack availible when certain users access webmail / web app
Hi there, We have a few users who when using webapp it is incredibly slow to process anything and can result in a Http 500 Error. When this is happening I can log in fine and performance is good in webapp. Its seems to only affect a few users. The users
who the problems exists for were initially users who's mailbox failed to move from our now demoted and removed 2003 exchange server. I simply exported to PST, removed exchnage credentials, purged mailbox and then reimported. This seems to work fine. I am now
however concerned that this error is happening to a user who uses webmail extensivly and was working fine until very recently. This is also a mailbox that was moved correctly from the 2003 to 2010 and has been OK for a couple of months. Can anyone clarify
what the error specifically is, what is causing it and how can we resolve so it doesnt happen again. Thanks PS exchange 2010 is single box with all roles on this single box

1 - Make sure Microsoft Exchange Forms-Based Authentication service is started
2 - If we are running Symantec End Point Protection - Try Disabling it and test

Hi Binu Kumar, Forms service is running, as mentioned in the previous email it is only specific users this is happening to. At the exact same time they are having trouble logging in to webmail / webapp other users can log in fine. I tried this myself with
2 browsers and me logging in on one browser and logging in as problematic user on the other browser. if the forms service wasnt running then I wouldnt be able to log in for either. Not using symantec and have disabled our AV temporarily to test.

Hello,
The error 500 is a general error. If you need to know more about the detailed information, you need to check the IIS and find the child error code,
like 500.11 or 500.12. Then check the meanings via the following link:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/943891
For the performance issue, if it only occur to some specific users, please check if these users are on the same mailbox store or check
if the size of their mailbox is too large.
Thanks,
Simon
