HTTP 500 error in IE / Blank page in Chrome after fresh install on new VM

I'm at a loss. I'm making a first time Exchange server, no users on a very small domain. I made a VM, Server 2012 R2. Installed Exchange Server 2013 with SP1.  Everything goes through fine, but once I login I get nothing. Go through every fix I can find. No luck. Okay something is wrong with my install. I uninstall and reinstall....Exchange breaks halfway through the install and I can't remove it or reinstall it. Okay, whatever I burn down the VM and start over. Same problem. Blank page or HTTP 500 depending on browser.

Did this https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2971270/

Attempted this but this direcotry doesn't exisit past /Owa2 which I'm assuming might be my problem?

(C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\ClientAccess\owa\15.0.847.32(Exchange current version number)\Owa2\ext\killbit, remove KillBit XML file; )

I've tried a ton of other stuff, didn't quite keep track of everything I tried, but I know most of what I can find doesn't really have a reason to apply to my situation. This is a completely fresh install, it gives the same error externally and internally and I tried making a new user with all the proper permissions. Same problem everytime.

Is something wrong with my image or what?

Hi,

Have you referred to Exchange 2013 prerequisites before installing?

Have you prepared the Active Directory?

Which role did you install on the VM? just Client Access role or Mailbox Role or Both?

I recommend you refer to the following article to understand the Exchange 2013 prerequisites:

Hi,

Yes,

Yes,

I've installed both roles onto the VM.

I confirmed everything in the article you posted. But no help.

Thank You,

Ryan
