I'm using Windows 7 & Excel 2010. I keep getting this error message: 

Excel cannot complete this task with available resources. Choose less data or close other applications

Ive created a database that is kept on the server and accessed by multiple users. I believe we are all using the same version of Excel. Please advise on what steps need to taken to fix this problem.

Make sure that Excel has fully been patched.

If all of users unable to open the Excel file, I suppost that the memory issue might be caused by excess shapes, complex PivotTables, macros, complex charts, name references limitation with many data points.

Please read the mothod one in the KB2779852 carefully and hope it helps.
