GxClusPlugIn (SCC mailbox resource) (Instance001)- Showing offline in the SCC cluster why?
Dear Experts, We have exchange 2007 SP1 RU 10 running on the SCC mode on windows server 2003 Enterprise 64 Bit edition. We are using EVA4400 HP make Storage and Sysmantec backup Exec 12.5 version backup software. In the cluster resouce GxClusPlugIn (SCC mailbox resource) (Instance001) is sowing offline. My Query: 1. Can I remove the resource by removing the dependency? 2. What is this meant for? 3. If not how could I remove this and make the cluster look Green instead of a Red exclamation on the resource name? Regards, ManjuManju Gowda

Hi, It is Galaxy Cluster Plugin service. Base on my research, it provides notification regarding whether or not the cluster group goes into an active or passive state. This service is essential for system functionality. So you'd better to contact support from Commvault to get better help. http://services.commvault.com/ More related information from Commvault to share with you: http://documentation.commvault.com/dell/release_7_0_0/books_online_1/english_us/features/clustering/clustering.htmXiu Zhang TechNet Community Support
