Group address are not showing Outlook Address book and OWA
Hi, We have Exchange 2007 server environment. The "Group address" are not listing in Outlook address book and in OWA. Is anybody can help me in this? Regards, Senthil KR

when you say Group address, you mean to say email addresses of DL??Can you see the DLs in the GAL? If yes, then double click on them, go to the third tab , which is email address and check for the email address.If no, then probabaly you need to download the OAB again or configure a outlook profile in online mode (not cached mode) and see if you can see the DL and the email address.Raj

Hi,Since the groups are also not listed in OWA mode, could you please check the group's properties?Advanced->Hide group from Exchange address listes.And can you find the new-created user in GAL when you use OWA?Frank Wang

Hi Frank, Hide Group from exchange address list is unchecked only and i've not able to see any newly created group email address however able to view user mail address. Senthil KR

Hi Senthil,Do you install new exchange 2007 server or upgrade from exchange 2003? Single domain with single exchange organization?Do you mean just newly created groups are not list in GAL, but old ones are there?Do the newly created groups list in All Groups (or All Contacts)?Can you send mails to the newly ones?Frank Wang

Hi Frank, 1. It's upgrade from Exchange server 2003 with multiple domain with multiple organization. 2. After up-gradation, group address alone is not updating in GAL. 3. It's not showing in "All Groups" also. 4. Yes, able to send and receive mails from the newly created group ids. Senthil KR
