Go Back and Go Forward buttons in Outlook 2013

I must be missing something obvious, but I can't find how to add Go Back and Go Forward buttons to the Outlook home screen, preferably in the Quick Access toolbar.  They don't appear in my Customize menu.

Hi there,

I agree the question was NOT Answered, off the mark completely.

The software is missing a BACK and FORWARD button which moves between the different screen states, e.g. Calendar, Email, Folders, etc but accurately remembers the last position. As gablackburn says similar to browser behaviour.

It would be good for productivity.

Regards

Hello All,

I'm the one who asked the question a year ago and I didn't realize people were still trying to figure it out.  You are all correct that redo and undo are not what I was looking for.  I wanted Forward and Back of the GUI state.  For example if I switch the view to a different folder, "back" takes me to the folder I was looking at previously.  Outlook keeps track adds GUI states to the list and you can move forward or back through the list, just like your browser.

Anyhow, it turns out to be simple, but not obvious.  Go to the pull-down on the quick-access toolbar, as Steve Fan from Microsoft suggested above.  There is a "Forward" in the list, but no "Back". The "Forward listed in the pull down is "Forward the email to someone else".

So go down the pull down to More Commands ..
QuickMenu PullDown

And then you get this dialog box.  It's from my installation, so Forward and Back have already been moved into my Quick Access Menu.  You should see them in the left-hand list, and just push the arrow button to move them across
More Commands for Quick Access Bar

That's it.  Enjoy all.

P.S. Could someone please mark this as Answer for me? Thanks.
