Global Address List and Calender Sharing between Two Trusted Domains
I got a case . There are two site of offices with two new domains and both running in exchange server 2007. Domain A clients want to get the list of Global address list (GAL) of domain B, and also they want to get the calender of Domain B. Domain B clients want these functions also. So, I got some question: 1. Should I only trusted two domains and the exchange clients can browse the address list and calender in their outlook? 2, If there is a solution on Windows server 2003 , which version should be required ? Standard or Enterprise? Please kindly provide me some suggestion on this case. Thank you.

Hi, I understand that you would like to achieve the aim of sharing the GAL and Calendar between the two domains. Actually, we need to first make the two domains trust each other. Then use the Identity Lifecycle Manager (ILM) 2007 to synchronize the GAL and Calendar. For more information, please view the resource as below: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998597.aspx Regarding Windows Server 2003, I suggest we use Windows Server 2003 Enterprise. You can view the following link about the feature of Windows Server 2003 Enterprise. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsserver/bb429523.aspx Thanks Allen
