Giving calendar Permissions to MAIL-Enabled Users
Hello, I would like to give a mail enabled (not a mailbox user) permissions to a calendar without giving them Full Access Permissions to the mailbox. I have tried to get this work to no avail. Is there a method for acomplishing this? Exchange 2007 SP2. Thanks --Bill

Hi, What is the mailbox-enabled user but not a mailbox user? Could you describe it in more detail? Is it a normal AD account but without mailbox? Thanks Allen

Hi Bill, Sorry for the delay response. To grant the calendar permission to normal AD account, that's not feasibe to do it directly. That is because the Calendar permission is the Mailbox permission (MAPI), the AD account must be available in GAL. Thus, you need to give the value of the mailnickname attribute on the AD account via ADSI. Then you can grant the permission. Thanks Allen
