Getting event in event viewer One of the System Attendant's task is blocked. Function: COffLineABScanTask::Work
After getting this mesage. Clients can not connect with Outlook or OWA. Server is running 2003 server and Exchange 2003 sp2. Happens every morning at around 5:00 AM. If I reboot the server all is well until the next morning. Tried the following Ms article no help (article ID: 906154) actually my srver does not have the regisrty key mentioned in the article. Thanks for any help!!

Did you resolve this issue, I am getting the same issue and not sure what is causing it. Looks like every morning it happens the same as you. Have to reboot to get it working. All services look started.Any info would be great

My first suggestion would be to apply the latest Windows service pack to the machine. Then go to Windowsupdate and get the latest updates. If that fails, I suggest disabling the AV, Backup, and any security software that might be preventing a task from being performed. Also, check and see if you have a file-based antivirus software package that might interfering with Exchange.
