Getting Error while trying to install Exchange 2003
I am trying t install Ec\xchange server 2003 on Windows 2003 Domain controller but getting the below error-- The component "Microsoft Exchange Forest Preparation" cannot be assigned the action "Install" because: - Either you do not have permission to update the Active Directory schema or Active Directory service is currently too busy.Best Regards, Parveen Chauhan Email-parveenc@hcl.in Mobile: +91-9811629793

Hi, I think you dont have the schema Master role also check that can you ping your domain with FQDN . Also with the user you are installing it he should be the member of 01. Domain Admin 02. Schema Admin 03. Enterprise Admin 04. Local Admin Group. I hope this will help you. Regards. Hi, Do you mean that you cannot mount the exchange mailbox? If the previous problem has been resolved, I recommend you create a new thread for this new problem. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread. Thanks
