We have exchange 2007 installed with SP1 and have issues sending to certian domains ...we get the 421 4.4.2 dropped connection error in the log and it won't send to certain domains...have tried changed external IP address and sending through a smart host...we did not have this problem with exchange 2003 at all...Any suggestions...Doug

Hi, What is the topology of your Exchange server? What is the last error of the queue that was the message stopped? Please enable Protocol logging level as Verbose, then record the log of sending message. Finally, locate c:\programs files\microsoft\exchange server\transportroles\logs\protocollog\SmtpSend post the log on the forum. Thanks Allen

Getting the same problem, Exchange 2007 SP1 delays sending to an External domain a large mail with attachments (over 15 MB) and states Connection Dropperd. Any ideas ?? Regards, Enrique C.
