Get-MailboxDatabase does not return mounted status
Hi, I created QA$Testing mailbox database from console and its status is mounted. But, when I try to execute Get-MailboxDatabase cmdlet passing the identity as argument and query for Mounted status it returns following error :[PS] C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator.EXCH2007>Get-MailboxDatabaseName Server StorageGroup Recovery---- ------ ------------ --------Mailbox Database W2K3E64-PPATV11 First Storage Group FalseTestMailbox W2K3E64-PPATV11 Second Storage Group FalseMailbox Database W2K3E64-PPATV11 Second Storage Group FalseQA$Testing W2K3E64-PPATV11 Second Storage Group False[PS] C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator.EXCH2007>Get-MailboxDatabase -Identity "Second Storage Group\QA$Testing" -Status| format-List MountedGet-MailboxDatabase : The operation could not be performed because object 'Second Storage Group\QA' could not be found on domain controller 'w2k3e64-ppatv12.EXCH2007.local'.At line:1 char:20+ Get-MailboxDatabase <<<< -Identity "Second Storage Group\QA$Testing" -Status| format-List Mounted[PS] C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator.EXCH2007>Is it making any difference because of $ in the mailbox database name? But, if that is so then how come the mailbox database shown in console is mounted. Please also let me also know which characters cannot be used. Thanks,Neel
