Generic account permsions best practice Options
Hi there We are in the process of cleaning up user permissions to resource accounts i.e generic mailboxes and calendars. Right now it is a MESS!! Some resources have email distribution lists giving permissions & some are giving on an individual basis (arghh this is really bad because I get the phantom delegates) We have about 400 resources to cleanup, so I was just wondering if anybody has any good tips or know of any bestpractices in giving access to resources? Unfortunately the access can differ from resource to resource - some require just calendar access and some require permissions of the entire mailbox. Ideally, we want the resource owner to be able to update the resources when required and for it not to come back to the IT department. Environment W2K3 SP2 E2K3 SP3 Outlook 2003 (no SP) Any help would or ideas would greatly be appreciated.
