Our exchange run on CCR with NLB on CA/Hub Transport roles. Lately we have problen client's Outlook unable to get latest update for GAL from Exchange 2007. We set the logging for GAL to expert level and below is error while run update on GAL. The problem solve if we manually delete .oab file on outlook profile but it is not practical since we have 1000 users. I'm follow this link http://www.corelan.be:8800/index.php/2009/05/22/fixing-exchange-2007-offline-address-book-generation-oalgen-and-distribution-issues/ And found that C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\ClientAccess\OAB\<guid>, the last update for oab.xml was 19/06/2010 on both CAS server. When i created a new Offline address list, the new GUID was not automaticall create on CAS server, it took abt 8 hours before new guid created on one of the CAS. However, it not happened to another CAS server, we have to restart MS Exchange File distribution list services and then new guid will create. The lasted oab.xml was today date (06/07/2010) at 17.09 http://www.howexchangeworks.com/2009/08/how-offline-address-book-works-in.html I will post new oab.xml update on tommorow (07/07/2010).
