Hi all, I am a newbie to Exchange. I just put a new contact into the Active Directory. But that contact is not coming up on the client outlook GAL list. Why is that? Could someone help me on this please? Many thanks,

Hi, Assuming that you are running Outlook in cached mode you will have to wait for the offline address book to be generated (happens once each night) and then download the new address book to Outlook. Leif
