Full access permissions not set through EMC
Hello, We are running several exchange 2007 servers (Version 8.2, build 176.2), and are facing an increased number of access rights that are not being set through the Exchange Management Console. Especially when the Manage Full Access Permission is used and more than one user is added, only the last user seems to be processed. All exchange-servers are affected (except for the edge-servers ofcourse). Send As-rights seem to be processed as expected. Full Access permissions set through Exchange PowerShell are processed correctly. Does anyone have an idea where to look? Thanks!

Hi Ed-man, Per my known, it need a period of time . What about the action now? Could you please restart the information store and make a test. Is there any event log or error? And I have made some test, everything seems work well. Reagards! Gavin

A restart of the information store is not really an option at the moment because the server is used by over 5000 users. Besides that, there have been IS-restarts in the past without any difference (updates, rollups, etc.). Could the fact that we are running a 2003 R2-domain and an overload of AD-objects have anything to do with it? We allready placed the Exchange-servers in a seperate AD-site together with a few GC's. Also are mailbox/PS-queries rather slow.

"me too" When adding a list of accounts to "manage full access permission" using the ESM GUI, only the last entry in the list gets added. The GUI return indicates "success" for each entry but in actuality it is only successful for the last entry in that return. ESM version 8.01.0375.002 (build 240.6) AD 2003 domain What I do is ctrl-c to copy the return and paste into notepad. Then I copy/paste the individual commands into powershell. It's a drag. What I've discovered is even then, it sometimes doesn't apply. I paste the same command multiple times until it says "permission already exists". It's almost as if it is talking to a server that is just absorbing the commands and not doing anything with them, but replying that the action was successful.
