Full-Text Indexing and Event ID 1022
I'm having the following error after enabling Full Text Indexing: Event Type: Error Event Source: MSExchangeIS Mailbox Store Event Category: Logons Event ID: 1022 Date: 18/3/2012 Time: 21:15:01 User: N/A Computer: SERVER Description: Logon Failure on database "First Storage Group\Mailbox Store (SERVER)" - Windows 2000 account NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM; mailbox /o=MYDOMAIN/ou=first administrative group/cn=Recipients/cn=projetor. Error: -2147221231 I've enabled the SystemMailbox object, but the error still happens. So, I've disabled it. System is Exchange 2003 SP2 fully updated with 4GB RAM. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, Please check the article below, we may need to check if the Recipient Mailbox stated in the event description is disabled or locked-out. If it is disabled, then, enabling / un-locking the user account mailbox should solve the issue. Event ID 1022: Logon Failure on database First Storage Group\Mailbox Store http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555420 Besides, please try to download ExBPA and then have a health check on Exchange 2003.Xiu Zhang TechNet Community Support

As other post suggests, verify the status of the "projetor" user. Make sure it is not disabled or hidden from the Exchange address lists. Other suggestions can be found here: Event ID: 1022 Source: MSExchangeIS Mailbox Store.

I was misreading 'projetor' as folder 'projects', wich contains the catalog. This mailbox was already enabled, not locked-out or hidden, but it has never been acessed, having an empty field at "Last Logged on By" on "Mailboxes". This mailbox was receiving emails correctly, having around 30 unread messages. Just a simple first access on OWA solved the issue :) Thanks!
