Free busy information not available to one user
Environment:Server 2008 R2, Exchange 2010 (recently migrated from windows SBS2003)Clients are Outlook 2007Free/busy information shows up to all users except one, who was recently created. When she tries to create an appointment, she just gets the lines through the availability info and it says Suggestion cannot be provided because free/busy data could not be retrieved. In trying to fix this issue, I made changes to the EWS virtual directory regarding SSL (turned it off), and the authentication settings. This broke free/busy for the rest of the users, so I put it back to how it was, and now all users can see it except for the original user who still cannot. I turned logging on for outlook, and the fb log file it created had the following error: Getting ASURL. Failed to get ASURL. Error 8004010F When logged onto our terminal server, this user is able to see free/busy info without a problem, so it doesnt seem to be based on her account. I have also tried ceating a new outlook profile, but that didn't do anything. When I test the autoconfiguration, it all succeeds without a problem. I am getting the correct URLs, and no error messages. If I browse to the urls listed, I can view the XML without getting prompted. I have tried to add the certificate (self-signed) into the trusted root, but that didn't work either. We do not receive any prompts in outlook to accept a certificate or that it is invalid.Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be causing this? Is there any way to get around it without purchasing a 3rd party certificate? It doesn't seem necessary since it's working for all the other users. Thanks in advance for your help!

Well if she can get it from the terminal server her account seems to be ok. What is different about the site she is in vs the other users? Have you tried running outlook.exe /cleanfreebusyMark Morowczynski|MCT| MCSE 2003:Messaging, Security|MCITP:EMA 2K7,EDA Win 7,ES,SA,EA|MCTS:Windows Mobile Admin|Security+|http://almostdailytech.com
