Free Busy Not Publishing Exchange 2003 SP2 with new mailboxes
I'm on Exchange 2003 SP2. Recently I've noticed that the new mailboxes I've created recently are not publishing free/busy information, as when I setup an invitation for these mailboxes I'm only getting the no data hashes when viewing availability. There is about 15 mailboxes all together. I've created appointments for all the mailboxes calendars so there is something to publish. I've even logged into the mailboxes and changed the publishing time from 10 to 5 minutes. When looking at free busy for each mailbox I've observed the no data with Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010. However when I've logged into the mailboxes to accept the test appointments I am using Outlook 2010...Any issues with Outlook 2010 and free busy publishing? Mostly these are going to be resource mailboxes. I've moved the mailboxes to a different server and database, but no luck with seeing free busy information still. I've checked the free busy for these mailboxes from several different mailboxes on several different Exchange servers and in every case there is no free /busy information available again for these new mailboxes. I created the appointments last week so time should not have been an issue. Is there some logging I can turn on or something else I should be checking? I can see free busy information for older mailboxes fine. When I'm logged into the mailbox I can see the mailboxes own free/busy data when creating an appointment. Lastly there doesn't seem to be any events in the application log.

Start Outlook for one of those affected clients with the /cleanfreebusy switch and see if that makes a difference.

I thought about that mself after I posted this. I just loggd into one of the mailboxes using the /cleanfreebusy switch on my 2nd system since I have about 30 Outlook profiles on my primary system. I've waited at least 10 minutes but I still don't get the free busy data for this mailbox when I check availability. Using Outlook 2010. I'll try this on a few more mailboxes. Also I'll see if I can try this on a Outlook 2007 client to see if it makes a difference. In the mean time I'm open to other suggestions. Thanks for your help.

Good News! I just checked again and now I can see the free busy information for that first mailbox that I ran the switch on about 30 minutes ago. What do you know, that switch does work! I guess I need to do that for the other 14 or so mailbox...? Thanks for your help...
