Free/ Busy and Exchange 2007 CAS server
HiWe are running Exchange 2003 and 2007 mixed....we have dedicated Mailbox, Hub and CAS servers for the 2007 side of things. On Exchange 2003, we have our Schedule Free/Busy Public Folders held on a dedicated server. From what I understand, with Exchange 2007, the Schedule Free/Busy function is managed by the CAS server. How does this work? Do we need to do something to make the CAS 'responsible' for Free/Busy information prior to removing the Free/Busy PF's on 2003?

Much of that depends on the client version and where the mailbox lives.More Info:http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2006/10/23/429296.aspx'What does Exchange 2007 Availability Service do"Prior to removing the 2003 servers be sure to follow the steps here:http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb288905.aspx'How to Remove the Last Legacy Exchange Server from an Organization"
