Hi Jon-Arne,You need to configure new outlook profile for the meetingroom, you can open it if you have full mailbox access permission and change the settings according to below article.Publish your free and busy times for others to seehttp://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HP052818641033.aspxAmit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com

I've already tried this, but the number of months published changes after a while.I guess that's because of this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917687RegardsJon-Arne

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/917687article does not apply to Exchange Server 2007. Exchange 2007 does not support CDO for calendaring anymore. The only way to extend the time is to use Outlook.

But if I use outlook, the timeperiod the resource publishes it's free/busy information changes back after a while.RegardsJon-Arne

Hi Jon-Arne,The only way I can think of is to use outlook 2007 client to see if that helps. M

The key here is Jon-Arne has Outlook 2003 running in the environment. When using Outlook 2007, it uses Availability service which keeps unrestricted view in Free/Busy. However, if you are using Outlook 2003 or other legacy clients, it retrieves Free/Busy information stored in public folders. Hence, the KB 917687 still applies. You need to make the registry change on mailbox servers as per the KB article.Bhargav Shukla - MSFT - Exchange Reference: Exchange Server 2007 TechCenter - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124558.aspx; Exchange Server 2003 TechCenter - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123872(EXCHG.65).aspx; Microsoft Exchange Team Blog - http://msexchangeteam.com/default.aspx

Bhargav,I agree with what you wrote, Outlook 2007 will use Availability to work with the Free/Busy info but can you explain where and how do I add the registry key on Exchange 2007 server? My understanding says it wont work on Exchange Server 2007. Any directives would be much appreciated.M

Hi, The registry key still applies to Exchange 2007.Since Exchange Server 2007 does not use ExCDO the key described in 917687 does not exist so you must create it. The component of the System Attendant process happens to read this value from the registry if it exists and publishes accordingly. Mike

Milindn,Just follow the article 917687 (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/917687) to make registry change listed in Resolution section. It's client who uses CDO or Availability service depending on version and capabilities. Exchange supports both in 2007 for co-existance.Bhargav Shukla - MSFT - Exchange Reference: Exchange Server 2007 TechCenter - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124558.aspx; Exchange Server 2003 TechCenter - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123872(EXCHG.65).aspx; Microsoft Exchange Team Blog - http://msexchangeteam.com/default.aspx
