Forwarding Rule not Working in Outlook2010 for outside domain , mail server -Exchange 2010
I am using Outlook 2010 and exchange server version -2010. Forwarding rule is working fine with in the domain , but when I am applying the rule for other domain forwarding rule does not work. Kindly help ! Is there any option in Exchange 2010 which needs to be checked for getting this done. Thanks in Advance.....

Hi, Exchange doesn't allow automatic forward to external domains by default for very good reasons. Most companies doesn't want there users to forward company emails to hotmail, google etc... The best way to configure forward to an external emailaddress, is to create a mailcontact in Exchange and configure the forwarding on the users mailbox in EMS/EMC. That way you as an Exchange Admin, has the control. ..but IF do want to allow it anyway, you find the setting "Allow Automatic Forward" in the Remote Domain properties. See the below Technet Article.
