Forwarding Email via Outlook Rule - Exchange 2007
I have seen alot of old posts about this covering 2003 but i cant seem to find one on 2007. I have a user trying to forward emails from a couple users to a secondary email at a client site he is working at. But the rules dont work. No emails are forwarded. Ive tested this out myself and it isnt working either. He is using Outlook 2007. I suggested that i could set all emails to be forwarded to him but he doesnt want that, He only wants to forward emails from a few users. How do i go about enabling this, preferably for this user only, in Exchange 2007?

First, look at the "Organization Configuration | Hub Transport | Remote Domains" and see if you "allow automatic forward" on the default domain. If you do not then it's your organization's policy to not allow this to happen. If you want to allow it for everyone then just check the box. If you want to allow it only when the message is forwarded to a particular domain, create a new remote domain and allow it only for that domain. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP
