Question: In an Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2007 coexistence environment, if i want to change global settings for message size, where should I change, in Exchange 2003 or Exchange 2007? Answer: If you change the size limits in Exchange 2007 global settings, the change will also apply to Exchange 2003. Whereas, if you change the global settings in ESM in Exchange 2003, it will not affect Exchange 2007. Use Adsiedit, you could find the location of these settings: Exchange 2007: configuration | cn=configuration, dc=xx,dc=com |cn=service|cn=Microsoft Exchange | Cn=org name | CN=Transport settings Exchange 2003: configuration | cn=configuration, dc=xx,dc=com |cn=service|cn=Microsoft Exchange | Cn=org name | CN=Global settings |cn=message delivery Applies to: Exchange 2003, Exchange 2007
