Formatting pivot table data to different colours (columns)

Hi there,

I need some help.

I would like to format a pivot table to have two different colors for data within the Values

I have data for Number of Documents and Percentage of Grand total within the pivot table.  I would like to have the data for Percentage of Grand total to be yellow and heading to be yellow too. (columns)

Is there a way to do this within the pivot table without losing the formatting every time you refresh the pivot table?

thanks

Keith

Below is a sample of the data below.

Hi Keith-J,

According to your description, you want to format the data in a pivot table without losing formatting when refresh the data. You can create new conditional formatting rules in pivot table to help you.

I will show you an example in following content:

As shown in the following figure, you create the pivot table and use conditional formatting to create a new rule. Make sure that you check the checkbox of All cells showing X values for A and B .

Then you can find that the format of data didnt lose when b add new data to table and refresh it, as shown in the following figure.

Hope its helpful.
