Force seperate exchange servers to use seperate send connectors
I have Three AD sites connected by VPN's each site has its own Exchange 2010 servers HUB CAS MAilbox theproblem is the send connectors for the internet. Since the send connector is set to use DNS to send each server send directly from it's local network, which is what I want, BUT Since they use the the outbound FQDN from the connector in response to a helo, I get bounced for failed lookups on two of the servers. Obviously the DNS record for mail.myorganization.com only resolves to one IP. So can I setup a seperate send connector for each server and force it to use it? I have tried but it never works if the costs could be set per server then it would work but I can't find a way to do it. I would like each server to send out through it's own internet connection, all the inbound is working fine. Any exchange 2010 Gods out there?

Hi, Please try to create one send connector and use only one Hub server as the source server on the each AD site. After that, all the emails from the different site will use the same send connector to deliver the outbound email. Thanks Allen
