Force password cahnge for OWA 2010 users (IIS7.0)
I am looking for information on how or if I can get OWa forced password changes working via OWA. We are using Server 2008R2, Exchange 2010 SP1 and IIS7.0. All the information I have found so far in not conclusive. Can anyone confirm? This must be possible

I'm assuming 'Change password on next logon'? If so, just enable OWA change expired password feature, but it is only in Exchange 2007 SP3 and Exchange 2010 SP1.
Go to HLKM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchange OWA
Add DWORD ChangeExpiredPasswordEnabled and set it to 1
Go to a command prompt and issue IISRESET /noforce
Now and password that is expired or expiring will have the ability to change their password at the OWA login screen.

Hi,
Also enable "Password Change" in OWA Default policy (or custom one)

The PasswordChange feature in OWA segmentation is only necessary to allow a user to change their password once logged into OWA through Options->See All Options...->Settings->Password. Setting the key and resetting IIS (or in a CAS Array,
setting the key on all CAS boxes) is/are the only steps necessary to allow a user to change their password if it has expired or if the 'change password on next logon' is set in the account properties.
