Folder does not expand when subfolder receives new message
I recently switched from POP to Exchange. When accessing email in Outlook via POP, a folder would expand whenever a subfolder received new message. However, this does not happen now that I'm using Exchange.

Any behavior at the client side is managed by the client, not by
Exchange. This is especially true for the POP3 protocol. You should be
asking this question in an Outlook forum, not an Exchange forum, to
get a better answer.

Oh, sorry, I didn't see a question or request there. What you describe is how Outlook has always worked for me.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."
