We had a vendor install two new Exchange2007 servers. Previously we had an Exchange 2000 server. After all was running and all mailboxes moved to the two new systems we tried to follow guidelines to remove the legacy Exchange server. One remaining problem is the Free/Busy errors and inability to easily schedule meetings. I tried to follow KB945602, Scenario 2 applied to us/ Unfortunately this kb, like so many others, does not provide examples of scripts so I am never sure of what to enter. Apparently we no longer have the Legacy Administrative Group and running the scripts to add them fails. I did determine that the words "Org Name" meant our organizational name. I am still not sure if this is the full name, ourname.org, or just ourname. Also the -replicas parameter "Server\Second Storage Group\Public Folder Database" What goes in place of "Server"? The vendor placed the Public Folder Database in the First Storage Group so I modified the script to reflect that. When I run the script using the server name and the correct path I get an error that the database does not exist. It certainly does. What don't I understand about this script?? Is there a way to fix the free/busy status so meetings can be easily schedules and error messages are no longer displayed?

Thanks Amit, It appears that the legacy admin group has been deleted. Is there a command string I can use to recreate that group?

When I run the script provided "get-publicfolder -Identity "\NON_IPM_SUBTREE\SCHEDULE+ FREE BUSY" -Recurse |fl"I do not get the Legacy Administrative Group listed, only the Exchange Administrative Group and the First Administrative Group are named in the output list.

Hi, Further more: To resolve this issue, we just need to set a replica for the First Administrative Group. The command as below: set-publicfolder -Identity "\NON_IPM_SUBTREE\SCHEDULE+ FREE BUSY\EX:/o=First Organization/ou=First Administrative Group" -replicas "FIT23013\Second Storage Group\Public Folder Database" You can refer to the KB945602 to do the operation.
