Running Exchange 2007 SP3. A user cannot access his mailbox via Outlook/OWA, he recv's an error message saying that the mailbox is not accesible as it is currently being moved. Mailbox moves can be carried out by anyone in the IT Department, so it could have been initiated on any Exchange server to any Exchange server. The mailbox is about 6GB in size, so it's not like we can sit around waiting for it to finish. Is there any way to find out on which server this move is taking place? And does this change with Exchange 2010?

You can check the event (1006) logs as per link on your exch server. - http://www.msexchange.org/articles_tutorials/exchange-server-2007/management-administration/moving-mailboxes-exchange-2007-part1.html With Exch 2010 Sp1 you can move mailboxes online, so the user can continue to access the mbx whilst the move occurs.
