Final step Exchange 2010 transition
Hello, I managed to move all my mailboxes to Ex10 from Ex07. My Ex07 server has now all exchange services down which means that I'm currently operating only with Exchange 2010. Though, for resource matters, I want to the following: Uninstall Ex07, set up there Ex10 the move my mailboxes from the current Ex10 to the newer Ex10 and then keep operating only with the last one. The thing is that the server where Ex07 is currently installed, is my Domain controler, DNS and DHCP server as well. The question is: will I have any problem for uninstalling Exchange 07 there? Should I consider something before doing this move? I hope that was clear, let me know if you have any doubts. Thanks in advance.

Hello john3d, All the setting on the E2010 SERVER will be inherited from E2K7 SERVER. For Inbound & outbound mail flow : For Outbound à Create a New SEND Connector on E2010 with E2010 SERVER as source server. For inbound à Check permission on Default Receive connector on E2010 SERVER and checked Anonymous users permission. NAT rule should be perfect on firewall. After that stop all the Exchange Services on old E2K7 AND Checked whether you are able to see the PF, OAB etc. on NEW E2010 Server, if everything is perfect then Uninstalled the E2K7 SERVER from Control Panel. EXCHANGE2010, MCSE, MCTS, MCSA MESSAGING, CCNA & GNIIT
