Please help! I have the same issue as this KB- (Internet Mail Service Does Not Start Successfully)I follow exactly the instruction of method 2 which is reinstall the IMS, I have successful delete the IMS.During the installation, I get the following error message:"Self registration of the DLL C:\WINNT\system32\inetcomm.dll failed:0d"After press OK(the only choice), I get another error message:"Processing file D:\EXCHSRVR\BIN\cdo.ins, at or near line 8. A dynamic link library(dll)initialization routine failed Microsoft Windows NT. ID No.0xc002045a"I have register the .dll file manually but I get this error message:"LoadLibrary (c:\winnt\system32\inetcomm.dll) failed"Any idea to install the Internet Mail Service except reinstall the Exchange Server or the OS.

I really have no idea how to solve my IMS.So,the bad thing is I have to reinstall the whole exchange server. But before uninstall, how to I keep all my current configuration,email accounts and all the emails inside. Besides using archive the emails to users' computer, any other way to do that?
