Hello everyone, During MS exchange 2007 installation, to be more exact doing prepare legacy exchange permissions by : Setup.com /PrepareLegacyExchangePermissions got the Error: "Organization checks .......FAILED The specified configuration file couldn't be loaded as an XML document" If I try to install MS Exchange from the Virtual CD drive - got almost the same error - "The specified configuration file couldn't be loaded as an XML document invalid character in the given encoding . line 1 position 36889" Can anyone please suggest something? P.S. Have Windows 2003 server x64 with SP2 installed. Thanks in advace, Andrew

Did you install the new exchange 2007? Is exchange2007 coexist with other exchange server? Please ensure you execute the command in right root. Windows Server 2003 R2 has already .Net 2.0 (I have .NET version 3.5), MS PowerShell and MMC 3.0 installed. Also domain controller is running Windows Server 2003 SP1, and the setup has OCS Wave 14 installed and running. There was an attempt to install MS Exchange 2010 to one of servers running Win2008 Server, but eventually we refuse it(uninstall all the components). My PC has also met the system requirements you pointed. Regarding tutorial link you provided - after executing this "Setup.com /PrepareLegacyExchangePermissions " command, as I mentioned in my previos post, I got an error - "Organization checks .......FAILED The specified configuration file couldn't be loaded as an XML document". Now I'm really confused by the sutiation when I do not know how to debug\correct the installation process..
