Exchnage 2007 and AD sites
Hi all, We are currently running one Exchnage 2003 server in our AD domain. The exchange server delivers messages for two regional offices located in Poland and Sweden. These regional offices have specific VLANs therefore different sites defined in Active Directory Sites and Services. Reading Exchange doc. it looks like 2007 relies now on AD sites to route emails. My question is: is it mandatory to have a 2007 server for each IP site link? Or can i keep my current topology: one central Exchange server for headquarters and regional offices?

Hi The news about Exchange 2007 was that it was reading the information from Active Directory Sites and Services, so make a proper design. And you can keep your design, just make sure that your Sites and Services design is OK Jonas Andersson MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, Configuration | MCITP: EMA | MCSE/MCSA Blog: http://www.testlabs.se/blog
