Exchange uninstallation issue - Deletion of Public Folder
Hello, We've recently had issues with migration from Exchange 2003 to 2007 (now to 2010), initially I had installed Exchange 2007 on an alternate machine from our Exchange 2003 server. Management now wishes to skip Exchange 2007 and go straight to Exchange 2010, unfortunately I'm having trouble uninstalling Exchange 2007; "Uninstall cannot continue. Database 'Public Folder Database': The public folder database "SERVER\Second Storage Group\Public Folder Database" contains folder replicas." I tried to remove all the folders within the Public Folder but was unable to remove "Internet Newsgroup", is there any method of removing this public folder? or any other method of uninstalling Exchange 2007. did you get a chance to have a look into this http://www.experts-exchange.com/Software/Server_Software/Email_Servers/Exchange/Q_24061012.htmlI am sure its not because of the internet new group. Some thing else is stoppping the uninstall.

Please verify the replica of newsgroup folder, have you remove the exchange 2007 from the replica list?
