Exchange uninstall mailbox & error public folder replica
HI, i migrated from exchange 2003 to exchange 2007 successfully, after that i moved mailboxes to new CCR setup (new servers exchange 2007 sp3). a week back i was going to uninstall exchange 2007 from old server, i received the error " Error with public folder replicas". I created new Public Folder on CCR and make all mailbox databases to point that. after that i used a script c:\program files\microsoft\exchange\scripts\ to move the replica. but this didn't worked. and then i get help from this link to remove object using ADSIEDIT http://telnetport25.wordpress.com/2007/08/21/quick-tip-removing-exchange-2007-error-with-public-folder-replicas/ CN=Folder Hierarchies,CN=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT),CN=Administrative Groups,CN=<Your Organisation>,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=<your Domain>,DC=<Dot Com> I Right clicked on that value and then chose “Delete” from the context menu. After deleting the object still i can't remove the public folders and now i am unable to mount the public folders. Any help

Hi Can this post maybe help you solving your issue? http://www.testlabs.se/blog/2010/01/29/can-mount-public-folders/Jonas Andersson MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010 | MCITP: EMA 2007/2010 | MCSE/MCSA Blog: http://www.testlabs.se/blog

As Jonas mentioned, you should recreate the "Folder Hierarchies" and then the Public Folders can be mounted again. After that, you can unmounts the old Public Folder database and verify whether all users can use Public Folder, OOF and related feature successfully. If so, you can remove the Public Folder database on the old server and just use the new Public Folder database on CCR. Thanks.
