Exchange troubleshooting assistant, too many log files problem
Hello, We have Exchange 2003, and we ran into the problem of the databases dismounting in a storage group. I ran the Troubleshooting Assistant, and it told us we reached the maximum amount of log files. I created another folder and moved the log files, according to another thread I read here. The databases were able to mount. Do I need to be concerned about these log files I moved? I didn't really check to see if they were committed to the database, we were in a crunch and needed to get things running ASAP. Thanks, John

Hi You had better run eseutil /mk .chk file and check whether log is committed to database.Terence Yu TechNet Community Support
