Exchange tabs in Active Directory Users and Computers After SP1 and RSAT
Can anyone confirm that the following method will work on VISTA X64? I cannot see the Exchange attributes in ADUC.
Copy the followingfiles into your Windows/sysWOW64 directory on your Vista pc:
address.dll
escprint.dll
exchmem.dll
glblname.dll
maildsmx.dll
netui0.dll
netui1.dll
netui2.dll
pttrace.dll
Perform the following command:
regsvr32 \windows\sysWOW64\maildsmx.dll

Can you please tell us about your Exchange Server version? Is it Exchange 2003 or Exchange 2007?

Exchange 2003 does not support X64-bit. You cannot install E2K3 System Management Tools on Windows Vista 64-bit version. Refer below link:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996691(EXCHG.65).aspx
And Exchange 2007 does not show Exchange Tabs in Active Directory Users and Computers. That's huge change in architecture of E2K7. However, you can install Management Tools for E2K7 on Windows Vista machine and can able to modify or Manage Recipient Management.
I hope this clears your doubt on this issu.

This process works on Vistax64 with 2003Adminpak only to see the attributes in ADUC. Can somene attempt these steps to confirm that the workaround no longer is valid for Vista x64?

I have Vista x64 with RSAT installed. Prior to RSAT this worked, now it does not. Recopying and registering the dll did not change anything. This also broke the additional information that used to be displayed by registering acctinfo.dll as well.
Does anyone have any ideas?
