It is my experience that Good requires full mailbox access right, not just mailbox import and export rights. You might want to check your documentation.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

Okay, I've went in and enabled full control for the user for the mailbox via Management Console -> Mailbox -> Manage Full Access Permissions -> Add Added my user and that seemed fine, I restarted Exchange Information Store service, logged out and in on the computer I"m attempting this from and still no dice... Exact wording: SEVERE Unable to open Microsoft Exchange(R) session on profile 'GoodLink Server'. It may be due to invalid profile parameters, connection problems to the Exchange, replication delay, insufficient permissions to open the mailbox specified in the profile or the mailbox is over quota. Exchange system error:-2147221219, The Microsoft Exchange Server computer is not available. Either there are network problems or the Microsoft Exchange Server computer is down for maintenance.

I got it! Good Technologies tech support was quite helpful, and the problem was that I did not have a Public Folder Store created/mounted yet for the mailbox I was attempting to reach. Probably just a little of my Exchange newb-ness showing, but for anybody else having this issue, that fixed it for me. Thanks for the suggestion Ed!

I don't know if anyone will read this but I'm at the exact same point and sure hope someone can clarify... "I did not have a Public Folder Store created/mounted yet for the mailbox I was attempting to reach." I have a Public Folder Store, and it is mounted. The initial MAPI "check mailbox" query works, and then I get the error. What I don't get is what you mean by "for the mailbox". Are you making a public folder out of the GoodAdmin users mailbox? Are you making a public folder out of someone elses mailbox? Really confused. I made a couple public folders and gave permissions to the GoodAdmin user to at least see them. Just don't understand what you did specifically. Thanks for any clarification. We can't call Good as it's the trial version.

I also have the exact same problem.... I also am using the trial ver... but I have a call in to their tech support and am waiting to hear back.... If you go to the portal where you can see your trial key, you can click on tech support and create a ticket... but if you call on the phone, and enter you Cust account #, the recording will tell you that you are not entitled to support... you are... If you still have trouble, call sales at 866-723-4663. Hope that helps Matt Montalto

I just got off the phone with Good support... My problems solution was that I needed to be logged into the server as the GoodAdmin user.... then the install completed successfully (Make sure you have set the GoodAdmin user to be a member or the local machines administrators group first.... as specified in the quick install directions). Hope this helps you out.... Matt Montalto
