Exchange services on Edge in Stopping state.
Check the queue and see why they are in that queue, check the status of the messages. If the exch services are stopping then this could be ehy you cant connect via telnet. This could also be the reason for the queues. Check the event logs for any further info and post errors. If you have any other product doing scanning email for AV/AS, try to stop and test. Sukh

We are using Exchange2007 in our organisation. From the last 2-3 days suddenly the mail queue increase otherwise it is 0 .When we Telnet at Edge on 25 Port it does not work and if we check the Exchnage services on Edge server they are in stopping state and we are not abe to stop and start them. When we reboot the Edge server then everything is normal. But next day the same problem happens. What could be the reson an solutiin of it? Best Regards, Parveen Email- prvpnr@hotmail.com
