Edgee, Check this article and apply method 2 http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/911816 To enable this default behavior, add the following code to the Aspnet.config file that is located in the following folder: %WINDIR%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727 <configuration> <runtime> <legacyUnhandledExceptionPolicy enabled="true" /> </runtime> </configuration>Regards,Johan blog: www.johanveldhuis.nl

Dear Edgee, Did you install Exchange server 2003 or 2007 when you encounter the error? Which version is your operation system? What about the SP information? Send the setup log file to v-rocwan@microsoft.com for analyze. For Exchange server 2003, the file name is Exchange Server Setup Progess.log which is located at <drive> root directory. For Exchange server 2007, the file name is Exchange Setup.log which is located at <drive>\ExchangeSetupLogs\ folder. When you send e-mail to me, please let me know the URL of the post. It happens on my Exchange 2010 mailbox server role installation. The same role was previously installed and later uninstalled due to other errors. I simply clean up the Windows 2008 R2 registry on all Exchange Server entry and the error never comes up and Exchange server installation succeeded.
