Hi All, I have all my messages to an exchange 2003 server automatically forwarded to another server. Today I found out that emails with a single quote in the From: header do not get forwarded. I specificly tested with the following header: ##From: Wilko Quak <c.w.q'uak@tudelft.nl>## (the hash marks were not part of the header). Is this a known problem? Thanks in advance, Wilko Quak Ps. The problem is in the server that is supposed to forward the mail because if I send the mail directly it arrives in perfect order.

This isn't an issue with Exchange. You can have ' in the email address before the @example.com I would think that this "another server" maybe your issue. If it's Exchange then it shouldn't have an issue, if it's a non-exchange SMTP server, I can't comment on. Sukh
