Hi, I have Windows 2003 SBS with Exchange 2003 SP2 Last Monday, users complaining that they can not send emails. When I checked event viewer i have so many errors. Here are the errors MSExchangeDSAccess 2114 Topology Process INETINFO.EXE (PID=2860). Topology Discovery failed, error 0xffffffff - MSExchangeDSAccess 2114 Topology Process MAD.EXE (PID=2180). All Domain Controller Servers in use are not responding: server.domain.local - MSExchangeSA Monitoring 9098 The MAD Monitoring thread was unable to read its configuration from the DS, error '0x80004005'. - Server ActiveSync None 3005 Unexpected Exchange mailbox Server error: Server: [server.domain.local] User: [user@domain.ca] HTTP status code: [503]. Verify that the Exchange mailbox Server is working correctly. -- MSExchangeAL LDAP Operations 8026 LDAP Bind was unsuccessful on directory server.domain.local for distinguished name ''. Directory returned error:[0x34] Unavailable. - MSExchangeSRS Internal Processing 1400 The Microsoft Exchange Site Replication Service could not initialize its Exchange database (EDB) and returned error 1. The Site Replication Service will wait in a semi-running state so the database can be restored from backup and the SRS can mount it. I really need your help guys. Thank you.

Hi, How is the Active Directory working for you? It seems like the services for AD is not running like it should, and the results in problems with Exchange since Exchange relies heavily on AD. /MartinExchange is a passion not just a collaboration software.

Hi, Is the DNS server service running? Are all the Exchange services running? Can you create new users in AD? /MartinExchange is a passion not just a collaboration software.

Do you have problems with sending all mails or just some? Is the problem always there or just in periods? Did you try the helpdesk first advice of rebooting the server? /MartinExchange is a passion not just a collaboration software.

After restarting the server the exchange is OK (can send and receive mails) but after some hours. the errors listed above will occur again. And i need to restart the server again so that exchange will be OK again. then errors will come up again on event viewer. I'd been doing this for 6 times now since Monday. Eric Belmonte

Hi, Try and read this one: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;327844 Also try to run netdiag and dcdiag in the command prompt. You need to have installed windows server support tools before these work, they are on the server CD. /MartinExchange is a passion not just a collaboration software.

Based on my research, I would like to share you the following article to troubleshoot the issue. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/896703 If the issue persists, please run netdiag and dcdiag, and then check whether any error exists.
