Exchange management console folders are not accessible
From time-to-time, my EMC folders (Global Settings, Recipients, Administrative Groups, Tools) turn from yellow to black and become inaccessible. I cannot open anything. Remote Desktop to my Exchangeserveralso becomes disabled. At this point, all I've done to resolve itis to reboot the server at business day's end.Does anyone know 1. How to fix, and 2. What is the cause? We run Exchange 2003.

Are there any errors in the application event logs? Perhaps install the exchange management tools on your workstation and manage exchange there instead of interactivly logging into the exchange server?This also could be something corrupt with the windows profile. does this happen with all user accounts? could you rename your profile and re-login and try again?Mike Crowley: MCT, MCSE, MCTS, MCITP: Enterprise Administrator / Messaging Administrator
